Lulu Pencil Is Important Freelance Writer Representation

Lulu Pencil

She’s afraid of heights, weak and constantly loses, but Lulu Pencil is one of professional wrestling’s breakout stars of 2019.

The reason, in part, is because Lulu Pencil is actually a working freelance writer who wrestles on the side in Japan’s Gatoh Move promotion. And a creative class wimp who taps out to rest holds and constantly fails speaks to a surprising amount of savvy wrestling fans.

Sarah wrote about Lulu Pencil in a piece for Fanbyte.

Sarah explained why Naito resonates so deeply in a piece for Catapult.

FKA Twigs may be a darling of the music critic set, but she’s also a badass. In the literal sense.

The musician has recently taken up the martial art of wushu.

Sarah wrote about it for Asian World Of Martial Arts.

Sarah recently profiled up-and-coming mixed martial artist Serena DeJesus.

People take up combat sports for many reasons. One of the reasons it has worked for DeJesus is because the intense focus of the sport helps her to dampen the sensory overload of the outside world.
