Kieran Tamondong

One of the athletes that Sarah’s benefactors at Asian World Of Martial Arts sponsors is teenage breakout star Kieran Tamondong.

Tamondong did a pile of high-profile things in 2016, but there’s probably no better indicator that he’s on his way than the fact that he was in a Beyonce video.

Sarah recapped his year for AWMA.

Sarah wrote about this new study for Asian World Of Martial Arts.

Jackie Chan Gets An Academy Award

Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan

Despite being the second biggest figure behind a whole film genre (next to Bruce Lee), the Academy Awards have never cared all that much about Jackie Chan and his kung fu movies.

Until now, that is.

This past November at the 8th Annual Governors Awards for the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences they gave Chan one of the four Honorary Awards for being one of the “true pioneers and legends in the crafts.”

Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange

New marvel movie Doctor Strange has done wonderful things to make sure the idea of a cosmic planetarium trip out of a movie is never out of fashion.

It also taught us some lessons about martial arts.

Sarah explained why in a piece for Asian World Of Martial Arts.
