Eddie Murphy’s tribute to blaxploitation star Rudy Ray Moore in Dolemite Is My Name isn’t just charming, it may spark a full-on renaissance for Murphy.

Murphy’s efforts in Dolemite Is My Name certainly do a good job to remind everyone why Murphy is a really big movie star.

It’s a deep, complex piece that almost sheds any association with Michael Bay from LaBeouf’s resume.
