When the Toronto International Film Festival was on Sarah had the chance to speak with Mark Hartley, the man behind the documentary film, Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films.
If “Cannon Films” doesn’t ring a bell, the company’s imprint on pop culture certainly does. They’re the people who brought Chuck Norris, breakdancing movies, ninjas and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 to the masses a few decades ago.

Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino
It may be unfurling with the deliberate pace of a Carnivale story arc, but a clash between toughest-woman-on-Earth Ronda Rousey and pretty much her only perceived challenger Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is slowly, inevitably, inching closer to happening.
There remains only one problem: Cyborg is too big.
Justino isn’t in Rousey’s weight class. And if she wants to compete with the much smaller Rousey she’s going to have to shrink down to the champ’s size.
She’s apparently going to attempt this now and Sarah wrote about it for Fightland.

Rocky
Jimi Jamison, the lead singer for Survivor, passed away recently at the age of 63 and it’s left those of us with a yen for inspirational jock jams with a burning hole in our hearts.
Sarah took some time to look at some of the best songs Survivor created for Fightland.
