New marvel movie Doctor Strange has done wonderful things to make sure the idea of a cosmic planetarium trip out of a movie is never out of fashion.

La La Land
Big deal Hollywood musical film La La Land is making all sorts of film critics swoon at the notion of romantic old school sing-dance movies.
Sarah, the half of Team Risky Fuel who doesn’t think such movies are stupid, calls the film “gorgeous, often delightful, and quite satisfying.”

One of the highest profile of these fighters is UFC’s Eddie Alvarez.

One of the marquee hip-hop events on the Toronto event calendar that isn’t 100 per cent OVO/Drake-ified is the announce fall concert/event series Manifesto.
Manifesto caps each fest with a free concert at Yonge-Dundas Square that matches up-and-coming locals with huge international stars.

One of Sarah’s favourite films she saw at TIFF 2016 was Denis Villeneuve’s sci fi epic, Arrival.
