Fans of punch-kick button mashing took note that the EA UFC 2 video game was released recently.
The game was filled with current UFC stars as playable characters as well as classic fighters like Mike Tyson.
Those weren’t enough for Sarah, though. In an article for Fightland she listed off some of the other people who should have been in the game.

Ronda Rousey
When former UFC champ Ronda Rousey lost her belt recently to Holly Holm there was an ugly backlash that had little to do with scrutiny about her actual performance in the fight.
Part old fashioned sexism, part schadenfreude, part kill-your-idols, once Rousey lost the knives came out.
It has not been a good for those holding the blades. It has also been a cautionary tale for other female fighters.

Conor McGregor beer
A pub in Dublin, Ireland called MVP and the Brewtonic brewery made a beer in honour of motor-mouthed UFC champion Conor McGregor.
If you’ve tried it, good for you. If you haven’t you’re shit out of lucky.
There isn’t going to be anymore apparently.

Sage Northcutt
The UFC’s next big thing Sage Northcutt and his punchable perma-smile lost a match recently.
Coupled with former women’s champ Ronda Rousey’s recent vaporization, these defeats may be ugly for the UFC’s marketing team.
For Northcutt himself, though, an L may not be so bad.

Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino
Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino considered the best female mixed martial artist outside of the UFC.
And the reason why she’s outside of the UFC is mainly because there isn’t an actual weight class for her to fight in.
A lot of Cyborg’s career arc has revolved around will she or won’t she fight Ronda Rousey. It’s a superfight that’ll probably never happen.
As such, Sarah theorized that it’s time Cyborg start being viewed on her own merits as opposed to as a potential Rousey opponent.
