Cris “Cyborg” Justino, the most dominant female MMA fighter outside of the UFC will now be fighting inside the UFC.

Cyborg is too heavy to compete in UFC’s current female weight classes, but the recent success ($$) of Conor McGregor’s catchweight fight has encouraged the promotion to do more non-weight class-based fights.

Hence, Cyborg vs. Leslie Smith at UFC 198.

Trash-talking self-promoter Conor McGregor lost a fight recently.

This is cause for contemplation.

Which Sarah did in a piece for Fightland which references not only Ric Flair and Rocky Balboa in his robot-buying phase, but also the 1960 Federico Fellini classic La Dolce Vita.

There was an ugly bit of gay panic in the New York State Assembly recently when the governing body voted to lift its 20-plus year-old ban on mixed martial arts.

Apparently, it’s because MMA is super gay.

So says Rosie O’Donnell’s brother.

Now, the notorious one can also say he inspired Batman.

Specifically, the fighting style used by Ben Affleck’s Batman in Batman v Superman.
