Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee is well known as probably the greatest film-based martial artist to ever grace the silver screen.
That said, there’s shockingly little evidence of Lee taking part in real fighting — sparring, combat, that sort of thing.
Some old film of Lee in action recently surfaced and it proved one thing — Lee was indeed legit.

There’s a growing movement among both sophisticated sports athletes and trainers and those wishing to break stage parents who forcefeed their children single-sport training to incorporate other sports into their main disciplines.
One area that professional athletes are increasingly turning to is martial arts.

Wonder Woman
To prepare for her superhero role in Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot apparently trained in a number of martial arts including kickboxing, kung fu, swords and numerous other disciplines.

Playing The Game
There’s a not so secret world where people play the video game Street Fighter professionally.
There’s also a world where there’s a documentary film about these digital athletes called Playing The Game.
During the 2017 edition of the Hot Docs film festival Sarah spoke to the film’s director Takao Gotsu about this world.

At a time when housing costs are rising dramatically and it’s becoming increasingly difficult for the average family to simply live, Habitat For Humanity’s latest Home Is The Key campaign is creating awareness about how incredibly valuable safe, secure lodgings can be to families.
