Three Days Grace Go Home For Charity

Three Days Grace

Three Days Grace

Three Days Grace are a big thing on the southern U.S. hard rock circuit, which means they haven’t had much time for quaint hometown-ish shows in years.

That all changed recently when the band played three charity shows in Peterborough, Ontario.

I spoke to them for Huffington Post Music Canada about those shows.

You can read the story here.

This Week In Music History: December 9 – 15

The Doors

The Doors

My “This Week In Music History” feature went out again this week over at the Spinner.

This was one of the weirdest columns I’d done in awhile. There was Jim Morrison of The Doors getting arrested on stage, George Harrison getting stabbed over 40 times by a crazy person, and James Brown in an interstate car chase.

Delta Airlines

Delta Airlines

As Sarah’s stolen Las Vegas luggage (or as her detractors would like to point out, potentially misplaced) inevitably makes its way to Las Vegas pawn shops, her Delta t-shirt photo essay has been picked up and retransmitted via Huffington Post Travel Canada.

You can read it by going here.

Or, you can reread the original, which contains more photos.

John Lennon

John Lennon

My “This Week In Music History” feature went out again this week over at the Spinner.

Technically this was last week’s This Week In Music History column, but I’ve been busy, and sick, so stuff it.  There’s stuff about John Lennon, Black Flag and The Rolling StonesAltamont adventure in there.
