“Miami Vice,” The New, Hot Fashion Trend

Miami Vice

Miami Vice

Sarah, possessing the unique always-40-per-cent-too-early sense of style she does, is convinced that “Miami Vice” is the next great fashion trend.

Though some may scoff at the idea of a surprisingly dark late-1980s cop show moving runways, Sarah presented a very plausible case in a feature piece for A-Side.

Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid

A few months back elite supermodel and sometimes martial arts student Gig Hadid elbowed a super-creep named Vitalii Sediuk in the head after he grabbed her when she was leaving an event.

Sarah wrote about the complex aftermath of the elbow for Fightland.

The Man Behind Ronda Rousey’s Hair

Ronda Rousey's hair game

Ronda Rousey’s hair game

One of the most dramatic differences between men and women in the mixed martial arts game involves hair.

The men, unrestrained by cultural pressures, often lean towards ultra-short, ultra-efficient hair.

Many of the women, however, still like to maintain long hair. When training and fighting so much this can sometimes be problematic. Sarah went to Abraham Esparza, the personal hair stylist for Ronda Rousey, to learn more about what’s involved in these athletes maintaining their manes.
