Ronda Rousey has signed a three-film deal with the Lifetime Network to “bring stories that reflect her passions about empowerment to the screen.”
We’re not sure what that means, but Sarah wrote about its relative merits for Fightland.

Cote says his first fight was an eye-opener.

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier have one of the longest running — and loudest mouthed — feuds going in the UFC.
Not only do they want to physically fight each other, they also spend an astounding amount of time trash talking each other.
Sarah got some of her literary colleagues to analyze the quality of said trash talk in a feature for Fightland.

Mikaela Lauren
Mikaela Lauren is the WBC Female World Super Welterweight.
Lauren believes that “ring boys,” the male equivalent of ring girls that carry those cards displaying which round it is, should do the walk between rounds in her fights.
It’s a brilliant idea and anyone who actually believes in equality should support something like this.
