MMA nostalgia is dangerous
With mixed martial arts being such a new sport it’s only now that many of its legends are having to come to terms with retirement and/or the realization they’re now physically past their primes.
The fighters who haven’t recognized this are entering into dangerous, and potentially deadly, territory.

Though not quite in the same league as Ronda Rousey, one of UFC’s breakout out fighters (at least in terms of pop culture resonance) has been Paige VanZant.
VanZant was recently a contestant on the current season of Dancing With The Stars.
