Insane Clown Posse and Carly Rae Jepsen
Killer clown rappers Insane Clown Posse recently watched the video for Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe” video Mystery Science Theater 3000-style and the results were pretty entertaining.
The pair contemplated how old Jepsen was, whether they’d “hit it” and marveled at the video’s ending.

Liam Gallagher of Oasis
My “This Week In Music History” feature went out again this week over at the Spinner.
For anyone who had floppy hair and thinks they’re British it was a week to celebrate the debut of Oasis‘ Definitely Maybe album. To guitar geeks it was the week Stevie Ray Vaughan died. And to Elvis fans it was the week that someone almost successfully dug up and stole his dead body.

Elijah Wood
Remember that epic half-hour Beastie Boys video for “Fight For Your Right (Revisited)”?
There was hooliganism, Will Arnett getting hit with a flying beer, and a literal pissing contest… man, it was great stuff.
One of the principal actors in the video was Elijah Wood and Sarah spoke to him recently about it for Spinner.
Basically Wood called it one of the best experiences of his life.

UPDATE: Because Spinner is RIP I’ve unearthed this listicle at the following location.
As the (proud?) owner of over 50 Morrissey and The Smiths CDs, and as someone who qualifies as at least two different things that Morrissey loathes (being Canadian and a music journalist), I felt I was uniquely qualified to mine the depths of the Mozzer’s hatescape to create the feature “16 Things Morrissey Hates” for Spinner.
