Inside The Bizarre World Of Erotic One Direction Fan Fiction

One Direction

One Direction

Recently Sarah put on her lurker boots and waded into the murky, muddy turf that is the One Direction fan fiction universe.

What she found in that swampy otherworld wasn’t pretty — Alexander Ovechkin tricking 1D members into kissing him, Oprah treating them like her bondage slaves… it was a dark place.

Understandably, she felt she needed to expose all of this so she did over at Spinner.

Heart On ‘Stairway To Heaven’ And Being Canadian (Sort Of)

Heart

Heart

Heart have made some of the best songs in the history of rock music — “Magic Man,” “Crazy On You” and “Barracuda” — and recently the covered another great, Led Zeppelin‘s “Stairway To Heaven,” and did it so well they made the band cry. Before Heart came to Toronto for Canadian Music Week I got a chance to talk to Nancy Wilson about doing that song in front of Zep as well as what other covers they know. That story can be found at Spinner by clicking here.

I also tried to clear up that peculiar urban myth that says Heart are a Canadian band in a separate story for Huffington Post Music Canada. You can read about that one by going here.
