Jazz singer Diana Krall gives off an air of stern-faced unshakeability, but there’s one thing that certainly makes her nervous — performing in her hometown of Naniamo, BC.
That’s what Sarah found out when she interviewed Krall for Huffington Post Music Canada recently.

Karen Elson and Kate Moss
In the way that only savvy content creators like us here at Risky Fuel are capable of, Sarah recently did a reverse-y of her recent 10 Great Musicians Turned Models feature and wrote up 11 Great Models Turned Musicians for Spinner.
It was illuminating because we now know that Kate Moss has performed with some really great bands — which is kinda infuriating. Other names on the list include Grace Jones and Jack White’s ex, Karen Elson.

Great Lake Swimmers’ Tony Dekker
Let’s be frank. There aren’t many famous musicians who are ugly. Usually being easy on the eyes is one of the baseline steps in being successful on stage.
So it’s not particularly surprising so many musicians also sideline hawking products as models. One slightly unusual addition to this list is Tony Dekker of Great Lake Swimmers. Now, we’re not saying he’s ugly, but his beardo-ness basically makes him look like every bartender in Parkdale.
Using him as inspiration, though, Sarah tracked down 10 other great musicians turned models for Spinner.
