United States President-elect Vladimir Putin thinks eyebrow-raising action movie star Steven Seagal is a true friend.
So much so that Putin recently gave Seagal official Russian citizenship in November.

Robert Vaughn
Former television spy and heartthrob actor Robert Vaughn passed away on November 11 at age 83.
His death hit one particular member of the Risky Fuel household (Sarah) very hard.
In her period of mourning after the death of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and The Magnificent Seven star, she wrote an In Memoriam piece about Vaughn for The Establishment.
One of the things Sarah wrote about was Vaughn’s surprising and sometimes dangerous activism.
It seems this fictional spy was quite concerned with saving lives in the real world.

In the film A United Kingdom a Bechuanaland prince and a British clerk fall in love and have to deal with the uncomfortable reality that the world isn’t quite accepting of interracial relationships.
Sarah saw the film at TIFF this year and considered it a deftly navigated, savvy work.

Tura Satana
Tura Satana’s badass character in the Russ Meyer film Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill came by her fightiness naturally.
Satana, you see, had solid martial arts training and she wasn’t afraid to use it on people who wronged her.
