To prepare for her superhero role in Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot apparently trained in a number of martial arts including kickboxing, kung fu, swords and numerous other disciplines.
Sarah used this as a reason to track down and list off some other amazing female martial artists in a post for Asian World Of Martial Arts.

Playing The Game
There’s a not so secret world where people play the video game Street Fighter professionally.
There’s also a world where there’s a documentary film about these digital athletes called Playing The Game.
During the 2017 edition of the Hot Docs film festival Sarah spoke to the film’s director Takao Gotsu about this world.

Bruce Lee
One of the most enduring figures in both the film and martial arts world is Bruce Lee.
The late Lee will be the subject of a biographical film about Lee titled Little Dragon.

Charlie Hunnam in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
Charlie Hunnam may be best known for playing a tough guy in the biker gang television drama Sons Of Anarchy, but for his recent movie King Arthur: Legend of the Sword he embarked on a different sort of tough guy training.
Oddly, for a movie about a sword, Hunnam trained in boxing and jiu jitsu to prepare for the King Arthur movie.

The actors who played the power rangers in the recently released tv-to-film adaptation Power Rangers come by their physically demanding ninja skills quite genuinely.
