New Pornographers ‘Pretty Psyched’ About New Music

The New Pornographers

The New Pornographers

When The New Pornographers recently performed a free show in Vancouver on a converted bus for those crazy Red Bull kids Sarah saw it as the perfect opportunity to talk to them. So she did.

The result was a wide-ranging interview for Huffington Post Music Canada where band leader Carl Newman told her about how psyched he was about the band’s new songs.

Carmen Electra Has A Big Dick

Carmen Electra

Carmen Electra

In a very exciting turn of events, Team Risky Fuel is officially contributing to Vice’s new music channel, Noisey.

The first contribution in what will hopefully be a long and beautiful relationship is Sarah’s deep, penetrating conversation with former Baywatch babe Carmen Electra about her sophisticated new single, “Bigger Dick.”

To find out why Carmen has a bigger dick than you, and to find out what she thinks of the age-old size matters question, head over to Noisey by clicking here.

There’s No LCBO Strike! Happy Victoria Day Long Weekend

LCBO Store

LCBO Store

One of the biggest stories in Ontario this week wasn’t about Toronto’s allegedly crackhead mayor Rob Ford, or the fundamentally sketchy behavior of two Conservative Senators Mike Duffy and Pamela Wallin, it was the serious-business worry about whether we’d be able to buy liquor over this Victoria Day long weekend. This, because the LCBO was poised to go on strike.

As such, Sarah wrote a couple stories about this phenomenon for Huffington Post Music Canada. The first takes us through all the stages of grief in realizing that you’re going to run out of booze, all set to mostly-Canadian music.

The second, written after the LCBO strike was averted, contemplates those same stages of grief, but hey, we don’t have to worry about it now, so let’s get shit-faced.
