When Ronda Rousey lost her recent comeback fight to Amanda Nunes it provided some solid ammunition for her haters.
The thing is, being simply pro- or anti-Rousey doesn’t quite cut it.
She’s a complicated individual and people in her sport need to analyze her legacy with a bit of depth.

Letterkenny’s Dylan Playfair
On the very funny television show Letterkenny Dylan Playfair plays Reilly, a tough posturing hockey player who isn’t actually that tough.
Playfair knows real tough, though. He encountered it the first time he got into a real fight.

Letterkenny’s Andrew Herr
One of the comic foil’s on the v amusing smalltown Canadian comedy Letterkenny is the “Jonesy” the hockey player, played by Andrew Herr.
On the show Jonesy is a frequently posturing, not entirely successful tough guy.
It turns out one of Herr’s first fights — an incident involving pinched nipple, crying in front of his classmates and shame — wasn’t particularly successful either.

Donnie Yen
One of the actors getting next-leveled thanks to being in Star Wars: Rogue One is the martial arts movie star Donnie Yen.
Yen will be familiar to any avid follower of combat films like Ip Man and Shanghai Knights. But his storm trooper takedowns in the Rogue One should introduce him to a whole new audience.
