The second piece from Sarah’s The Man From U.N.C.L.E. quadrilogy from the last week or so was an analysis of the fighting techniques used by the spies in the U.N.C.L.E. film and television show.
What she learned was that the original Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin had a bit of Royce Gracie-like flair to their combat skills.

In a rather surprising (and a little bit sad) turn in the war of words between boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey, Floyd has begun trotting out the ol’ “I make more money than you” line to argue he’s awesome.
Of course, Mayweather still has to fight his full fights. Rousey just finishes hers in 30 seconds.

When pro wrestler/actor/entertainer Roddy Piper died on July 31 it sent a whole world who grew up on his moral grey area villainy in mourning.
He was, after all, The Joker to Hulk Hogan’s Batman, a villain in name, but more like a yin to Hogan’s yang. In hindsight he was also a was more rich and awesome character than the titular head of Hulkamania.
