UPDATE: Because Spinner is no longer available in Canada you can read the story HERE.
When you talk about guys who’ve been around in the music world, super-producer Bob Ezrin ranks right up there.
Ezrin’s responsible for producing mega-records like Pink Floyd‘s The Wall and Alice Cooper‘s Welcome To My Nightmare. One thing he didn’t do though, was get Pink Floyd to consider ways of incorporating rap into their music in the ’80s.
He told me as much in an interview for Spinner before an appearance at the recent Canadian Music Week.

Leading up to this year’s Canadian Music Week I got the chance to speak to concert super-promoter Michael Cohl, the man behind tours for the likes of Michael Jackson, U2 and The Who.
We talked a bunch about his early days adventures in Toronto (including The Rolling Stones‘ El Mocambo club show) and his most recent success, the turnaround of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.

On March 16 the man who we named this site after, Jason Molina, leader of Songs: Ohia and Magnolia Electric Co, passed away due to organ failure.
It’s been a pretty huge bummer to the Risky Fuel household considering the many, many hours we’ve spent with his music over the years.
I wrote an obituary on Molina which you can find over at Spinner. For one that’s a little deeper and more meaningful, do consider checking out our sister site Awesometism.
