Andrea “KGB” Lee will be making her third professional fight appearance tonight on the Invicta 10 card.
More importantly, she won’t be walking to the ring to the sound of Dio’s metal epic “Holy Diver.”
This was something Sarah decided she needed to investigate for Fightland.

So long ransom note short sponsorship
The UFC recently announced a new sponsorship partnership with Reebok where all the fighters in the company will be forced to (and get paid for it) wear Reebok gear during official events.
While this works out to to guaranteed money for every fighter, what it does eliminate is some of that wild west capitalist hustle that has seen many a fighter don many a peculiar sponsor logo.
Sarah eulogized some of these small sponsors — like Dude Wipes and Dynamic Fasteners — in a story for Fightland.

Jake Gyllenhaal
Early photos have been revealed showing a super-cut, somewhat-badass Jake Gyllenhaal in his upcoming boxing movie Southpaw.
Sarah tracked down more information about the film and Gyllenhaal’s role — which was originally intended for Eminem — for Fightland.

Ronda Rousey on Jimmy Kimmel
Aging rap dad Eminem had some choice words for UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey on his newest song “ShadyXV.”
The champ seems unfazed by his less-than-flattering attentions, though.
