Kevin Brooks: Punk Rock Motivational Speaker

Kevin Brooks

Punk rock motivational speaker Kevin Brooks was the recent beneficiary of kind-hearted crowdfunding campaign to earn him a new wheelchair.

The gesture was a meaningful one for Brooks, who developed his motivational program after a reckless drinking and driving accident in 2000 left him partial paralyzed and resulted in the death of his good friend.

In many ways, this new wheelchair is a symbol for Brooks turning his life around to do good.

The Risky Fuel household hasn’t quite taken NASCAR seriously ever since we were watching a race and the announcers explained — with deadly earnestness — how dangerous the race was because errant hot dog wrappers were fluttering around the track.

NASCAR drivers, however, continue to treat their left-turn, left-turn, left-turn party like it’s very serious business.

So serious, in fact, that it’s fightin’ level serious.
