Marquee Beach Club
Now seems just about the right time to remind everyone that Sarah went on a whirlwind junket to Las Vegas awhile back where she ate and drank and danced and partied ’til all hours of the night.
On her adventures she went to places like Hard Rock Hotel, The Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan and the Encore Beach Club, part of Wynn Las Vegas and Encore facility. Then she wrote all about it for AOL Travel.

Jason Collett and Kevin Drew
So there’s this event happening in Toronto tonight called the Juno Concert Series. It’s basically a musical variety show where three bands: Arkells, The Beauties, and The Order Of Good Cheer each take a turn playing for an hour with a pile of special guests.
The whole point is to do cheeky covers of classic Canadian songs in the lead up to the Juno Awards.
Anyway, Aaron talked to the members of The Order Of Good Cheer about their set because they’re tight with the Broken Social Scene guys and Jason Collett and Kevin Drew from BSS are going to be performing and they’ve hinted that they’ll be debuting a new song so it’s a kinda big deal and… whew… deep breath.

Foxy Shazam
Foxy Shazam like bums. Same with asses, behinds, butts… you get the idea.
So Sarah talked to them about hind-quarters for Spinner.

Rue Morgue issue #119
Takin’ it back to the old school, Aaron recently had a record review of Calgary horror rockers The Forbidden Dimension published in issue #119 of Rue Morgue magazine.
That’s right. A magazine.
They still exist and they provide a giddy tactic thrill when you read them on the toilet.
To figure out how to get this blood-churning publication, go here.
P.S. Harry Potter’s on the cover for some movie or other. That’s important, right?
